As part of Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AICE) Data Science team, you will work on a unique set of data collected by our security software. Your focus will be on expanding the traditional threat detection capabilities and taking the approach to the next level by adding true artificial intelligence capabilities across F-Secure cyber security solutions, but of course, also many other interesting data-related problems will need to be solved along the way.
Key responsibilities in this role:
Design and implement algorithms and machine learning models to solve complex problems.
Work with data engineers to implement effective and scalable data pre-processing.
Work together with cyber security experts to find novel solutions to real-life problems.

What we expect You to bring to the table:
- Research or industry experience of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Pragmatic mindset and ability to evolve ideas into practical implementations.
- A strong mathematical background and Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Information Science, Computer Science or Data Science (or other relevant field).
- Solid understanding of the usage, implementation and theory of relevant algorithms such as for example regression models, neural networks, clustering and classification.
- Experience with relevant programming languages, for example: Python, R, Scala, Java.
- Knowledge of data science tooling such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, PySpark, Tensorflow, PyTorch.
- Familiarity of Natural Language Processing methods or AWS cloud solutions will be definitely a plus.
